The Ukrainians have launched 22 drones in the western Russian territory and Crimea, during the Sunday night on Monday, the Moscow Ministry of Defense announced, AFP reports.

"During the past night, air defense systems in service destroyed and intercepted 22 drones," the Russian Ministry said on Telegram.
Eleven drones were shot down in the Russian border region Briansk, one in the Lipeţk region and six above Crimea, the Ukrainian peninsula annexed by Russia. Also, the governor of the Kursk frontal region said that three other Ukrainian drones were shot down there.
Ukraine has intensified its attacks on Russian territories this year, targeting both energy sites that, according to them, feed the Russian army, as well as the cities and villages near the border. The two sides use drones intensively, since the conflict trigger, in February 2022.
